Note: stocks will fit all Mosin-Nagant receivers...
We were captivated by the Mosin-Nagant long before they achieved the popularity they have today. While one reason for their favor remains the relatively inexpensive-to-shoot military surplus ammo, those in good condition can be quite accurate. In fact, my first long-range rifle was a Mosin-Nagant "project", and it shoots better than minute of angle, with handloads, if I do my part.
The "Mighty Mosin" is no different than any other modern rifle, in that best consistency/accuracy is obtained when the receiver is installed with pillars to achieve metal-to-metal contact with the bottom metal, and the action. Without pillars, the action screws compress the wood stock- resulting in inaccuracy due to the fact that the wood stock compresses, and changes dimensionally from effects of temperature and rain/humidity. We offer pillar installation as an option for those that would like us to provide that service.
Introducing...our new Mosin-Nagant tactical stock the Viper!
A very unique stock, featuring a covered magazine (like the M28/76) with a gracefully tapered forearm. It's very ergonomic to grip for offhand shooting; aided by the pistol grip with moderate palmswell (shown here with optional adjustable cheekpiece)
The butt hook is perfect for riding bags and controlling the stock with the non-trigger hand for ultimate control and accuracy.
Sure, you can have a plastic stock for your Mosin-Nagant like everyone else at the range...including the "new" one...but wouldn't you rather have a high quality laminate to set your Mosin-Nagant apart?
The wide, 2" forearm will accommodate any bull barrel build- and a bull barrel channel is now standard.
note; because of the size/shape of the buttstock, the 1", f325b recoil pad is installed as standard, and is not an upgrade.

Mosin-Nagant precision/Target Stock!
Patterned after the Anschutz Silhouette style rifle stock, this beautiful stock features a wide-beavertail and upwardly-tapered forend. A slight shift on the bag or rest will make subtle changes in point of aim.
The smooth radius on the beavertail also provides a firm, and comfortable grip when shooting offhand- yet is flat enough for a bipod without requiring an adapter. A versatile, ambidextrous stock that's equally at home on a bag, bipod, or slung over your shoulder on the hunt...
A larger palm swell and vertical grip provides for perfect trigger control, and the horizontal comb makes this stock particularly suited for either the "traditional" Russian sniper scopes, LER scope mounts attached to the rear sight, or modern low-profile mounts. No more stacking "stuff" on top of the sharply-dropped comb of the original stock to try to get a good cheekweld. As this stock is specifically designed for use with optics, the comb height is incompatible for use with the rifle's open sights.

!!!!! FOR YOU CUSTOM BARREL and UK-59 MG BUILDERS !!!! ... we've had a lot of inquiries... We can include a 1", bull-barrel channel at no additional charge. Just provide your instructions upon Paypal checkout in the "comments" section.
Timney Triggers: Inletting: We will be happy to partially inlet the action for a Timney trigger at your request. We will remove the majority of the wood between the magazine and the rear action screw to aid in installing the Timney trigger. However, the inletting for the safety on the trigger may vary depending on final fitting of your receiver, so we are unable to inlet for the safety portion of the trigger. If you desire the Timney trigger inletting, please indicate so upon your Paypal checkout.
Pillars: When ordering aluminum pillars, please note whether you would like us to notch the rear pillar to accommodate the sear on the Timney trigger assembly. We recommend doing this even if you plan on upgrading to a Timney in the future- as notching the rear pillar after it's installed in the rifle is more difficult.
NEW! Adjustable Cheekpiece!
Correct form and an ergonomic stock are essential to accuracy. an adjustable cheekpiece may not be necessary for most shooters with this stock as it was intentionally designed with maximum comb height (the bolt barely clears the comb). However, we recognize that ergonomics are different for every shooter, and this eliminates any potential issues from taller rings and scopes with larger front objectives. Achieving the "perfect cheekweld" is a wonderful thing...Besides, it looks great!
Now, for less than the cost of the hardware alone for most commercially available designs-only $49.00- you can have the adjustability without the large price tag.
Available for both the Precision/ Target, and tactical Viper stocks!
Utilizing a "wedge-lok" concept, this is extremely simple, reliable- and best of all- inexpensive! The aluminum tubing is angle-cut...drop the comb with the hardware attached into the two holes in the top of the stock, set it at your desired height- and lightly tighten the allen-head cap screws through the small, 1/4" access holes in the bottom of the stock. do not overtighten! The aluminum posts will tighten, locking the cheekpiece securely in place. All aluminum and stainless steel for weather resistance, and this design will not trap water as some others may (note: cap head adjustment screw has been changed to stainless steel in production models from prototype shown). Allen wrench for adjustment included with purchase.
Please note that the cheekpiece is cut from the stock comb, and approximately 1/8" of material is removed from cutting/sanding as shown in pics. (click on photos to enlarge)
Adjustable Buttplate option
For the ultimate in comfort and the "perfect fit", add the Graco 575s adjustable buttplate. Three-way adjustment allows for up to 1-1/8" in length of pull, 1-1/2" up/down, and rotation to any position.
Installed price, only $125.00
